Henry Hayden is a famous author and doing quite well. He lives with his wife in a large house and drives a luxury car. He also has a mistress. But Henry is not what he seems. He has never written a single sentence. His wife, who is extremely introverted, has written all of his best-sellers and has him submit them under his own name. She loves Henry with all her heart.
But now things aren't going as planned. Henry's mistress is pregnant and expects him to step up and be a loving father. Henry arranges to meet her in an isolated spot along the cliffs and when he gets there, he pushes her car over the cliffs into the sea. But, when he gets home, his mistress is there and informs him that she and his wife had swapped cars, so he has killed his wife rather than his mistress.
But some people live charmed lives and Henry is one of them. Or is he?
