It's almost Thanksgiving in what has seemed like the shortest year in my memory. It's still warm in North Carolina with daytime temperatures in the 60's and 70's. Things are moving along nicely in our family. DH has taken up golf and heads out to the links twice a week. Our daughter is working her first professional job and doing well, working remotely and living with us to save money for a while. Our son recently started a new job and moved into a new house with his fiancee and kids. I'm making progress in my goal of reading books from my own shelves and downsizing the outrageous number of books we share our home with. But that's not to say I don't get new books now and then.
