    I have a facebook account, but seldom use it. Only half the people I need to update are on it, so I mostly don't bother.

    I have both a Facebook and Twitter account. I love Facebook because I've reconnected with a lot of people that I grew up with and went to High School with. Twitter I don't use so much.

    I know I probably shouldn't enter because I'm still reading a book I won from you ($20 Per Gallon -- still loving it) but . . . well . . . you always find the most interesting titles to give away.

    I used Facebook and Twitter for entirely different purposes. Facebook is really just a way to connect to see what everyone's up to when they aren't emailing and to connect with a few real-life friends. Twitter is almost entirely book talk. I hang out with mostly book bloggers, publicists, publishers, book store owners and other Mississippians on Twitter. I just drop in, though; I don't keep twitter up all the time.

    I'm a follower on Google Reader, of course.

    This book sounds like a must read for me! I am guilty of letting others that "don't matter" have a strong impact on my self esteem.. why? Grr.. been happening a lot at the school I am working at this year. Same thing is going on with my daughter as well.
    As for Facebook.. I use it to keep up with my friends. I can see what they are up to at a glance, no long emails to read and reply to. I also enjoy being able to play games with my kids and family trough it as well.

    I only use Twitter for giveaways, but I use Facebook to get in touch with people. I got back in touch with my ex-husband through FB, and we recently had a mini reunion with some old high school friends.

    Well, I am an internet late bloomer as I am a baby boomer. So social networking sites are very new to me. I still am stubbornly refusing to twitter although my grandchildren twitter like crazy. I do Facebook but that is just about it. I am still stuck in the pre-technology era and slowly am moving into the post-technology mainstream.
