So many things to be thankful for...MB mentioned food, oh yes. There is also the art and culture. We are approaching Day of the Dead, one of the most interesting. My office contains many items connected with Day of the Dead commemoration...colorful and unique items. Sugar skulls...so sweet. I am grateful to have discovered Sandra Cisneros several years back as well - one of my favorite authors.
I'm grateful for the food & the music!

I'll have to say the food as well, which I have adapted to make at home, for healthier meals. Fajitas in particular.
I am also grateful that I have a reason and more impetus, to learn a new language, I might actually be able to use it w/o leaving the country!
Poetry of Gabriela Mistral, among millions of other important Hispanic contributions to the world's cultural heritage...
Hispanic food (even Taco Bell) makes me happy!
